Take charge of a shift role

1. If you’re on a shift role, such as Senior carer on duty, Today says who holds it this shift.
2. Nobody holds it yet: tap Take charge. Someone else holds it and you’re taking over: tap Take over.
3. When you hand over or leave, tap Stop being, followed by the role’s name.

A Manager puts people on a role in Settings, then Roles.

When it’s done

Today says You’re the role for this shift, with the time you took it.

If it doesn’t work

• There’s no Take charge on Today: you aren’t on any shift role. Ask a Manager to add you in Settings, then Roles.
• It says Nothing was saved: tap the button again. If it keeps happening, reload the page.
