Start someone’s induction

1. Open Home, then Staff, then Staff Files Register.
2. Tap the three dots on their row, then Start their induction.
3. Set the start date and pick the programme: care, nurse or another role.
4. Tick They work nights if they do. Tick They will give medicines if they will: that adds the medicines competency step. A nurse always has it.
5. Name their buddy, link their app login if they have one, then tap Start.

The home’s standard steps are copied onto their programme. Change the standard steps in Settings, then Induction.

When it’s done

It says Induction started, and their programme shows every step, with a target date for each.

If it doesn’t work

• Start is greyed out: add a start date and a buddy first.
• There’s no medicines tick: you picked the nurse programme, which has the step already.
• Their own Today doesn’t show it: link their app login, under Buddy, supervisor and more.
