Read a check’s short name

For Staff, Senior, Manager, Owner

  1. Each check has a short name in bold, saying what is checked and what is done to it, like Fire door closure check.
  2. The line under it says what passing means, like closing properly, not wedged, seals intact.
  3. Open the check to see where its answer is written and what was recorded last time.
  4. The record keeps the check’s full wording, so nothing is lost when the name is shorter.

When it’s done

You can tell what each check is for from its name and the line under it.

If it doesn’t work

  • A name reads differently from what your home calls it: a Manager can change it under Edit checks.
  • You need the full wording for an inspection: it’s on the record, in the check’s history.
