Log an outbreak or notifiable infection

1. Seniors and managers: open Home, then Infection Prevention & Control. Staff: tap Search everything and type Outbreak.
2. Tap Log an outbreak (Add on a phone).
3. Put in the date it was identified, how far it has spread and the control measures in place.
4. Tap Save.

Tell the person in charge straight away. The infection control card on What do I do if… has the first steps.

When it’s done

You see “Row added”, and the outbreak is on the Outbreak & Notifiable Infection Log.

If it doesn’t work

• Save stays grey: the date identified and the control measures are needed.
