Give someone a team screen set-up code, or unlock their PIN

For Manager, Owner

  1. Open Settings, then Team & access.
  2. Find the person. Under their name it says whether they have a team screen PIN, or that it’s locked.
  3. Tap New team screen set-up code (Unlock with a new set-up code if it’s locked).
  4. Read the six numbers out to them. Don’t write them where others can see.

A code works once, for 24 hours. Their old PIN stops working the moment you make a new code, and anyone signed in as them on a team screen is signed out. Managers can give codes to Staff, Seniors and Readers.

When it’s done

The code shows under their name. Their line says the code is given and the PIN not chosen yet, until they choose one.

If it doesn’t work

  • There’s no button by their name: codes are for Staff, Seniors and Readers. Owners and Managers use their own sign-in.
  • The code didn’t work for them: it lasts 24 hours and five tries. Make a new one.
