Answer Anything to record? at the end of a shift
For Staff, Senior, Manager, Owner
- In the shift’s last hour, Anything to record? appears on Today for whoever is in charge. With nobody in charge, a Manager sees it.
- If something happened, tap its tile: a fall or injury, hospital or a death, the police or another agency, a safeguarding concern, a complaint, a compliment, something failed, an infection, or a data breach.
- The register’s own form opens with the shift’s date filled in (and the shift on Incidents & Learning). Fill it in and save. It brings you back to Today.
- Log anything else the same way. Then tap That’s everything for this shift. If nothing happened, tap Nothing happened this shift instead.
The next shift sees your answer on Today under Last shift, and what was logged when they open it. You can undo your answer for a few minutes after.
When it’s done
You see Anything to record? with your answer and the time, and the next shift sees it under Last shift.
If it doesn’t work
- You don’t see the question: it’s for whoever took charge of the shift. Tap Take charge on Today if it’s you.
- A tile tells you who to tell instead: your level can’t open that register. Tell the Manager now.
- Nothing happened isn’t offered: something is already logged on this shift. Check it’s right, then tap That’s everything.
